A C4C Pioneer Rests in the Lord

It is with regret that we announce you the heartbreaking news of the death of one of the pioneers of Christ for Congo Ministries, Little Brother Caleb Roberts, the son of Gary and Wendy Roberts. Caleb is one of the five children who were part of the first trip of the Christ for Congo Ministries to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), back in July 2007. Even if he was only two years old, his fearless and loving personality invited several hundreds of children to our programs in Lubero, DRC. When children followed him, in order to play with him, their parents followed the children, until we had hundreds of people attending our evangelistic meetings. We mourn the great lost of an important missionary.

Our prayers go up to Brother Gary, Sister Wendy, and Caleb’s little sister Cherise. At Christ for Congo Ministries, we are asking everyone to help in raising funds for the different expenses and a nutrition center that will be built in memory of Caleb in Chad, Africa, where he died. To donate, please click on the link on the bottom of the homepage of our website. Specify, when you submit your online donation, that it’s “For Caleb Roberts”.

God bless you all. Let’s continue praying and serving the Lord, because the night has been long; the Great Dawn draws nigh. Let’s be ready to meet Little Brother Caleb again for Eternity.
Please post your comments here that Brother Gary and Sister Wendy can read later. They are not yet reachable by email yet, since the incident happened last week. Thank you all.
